ATP TRANSFER POLICY
1. On time service
It is important to get to pick up points at a reasonable time in advance. From our experience we know that to be in hotels 10-15 minutes before the agreed time to collect our clients is better not only for us (less stress), but what is more important - it is better for you - the clients. In 90% of cases people already wait in the reception area and each time they are pleased to see their driver comming on time.
Talking about airport pickups (from the Vaclav Havel / Ruzyne Airport in Prague) - we never let people wait. We watch the flight status online and your driver waits in the meeting hall usually from 10 minutes after actual landing of the aircraft. Aproximate time to get through the baggage claim area is 30 minutes (some clients make it earlier and sometimes, unfortunately it takes 1 hour or more).
2. Private transfers
The prices in our transport price-lists are quoted per car (or per transfer if your group occupies more vehicles), not per person. Some transfer companies in Prague we know promise private car and then collect people into one vehicle and, that is the worst, they let them pay the full price. (Let us say Mr.and Mrs.Newton arrive first, the driver tells them, sorry, we have trouble with one of our cars and we wait for some other people, please wait 5 minutes. Then the driver, the Newtons wait for Mr.and Mrs.Martin who appears in 20 minutes. Driver goes to first hotel with Martins, because the hotel is closer than the hotel of Newtons. Stops, cash the money - full price and then takes "poor" Newtons to their destination and - yes - cash full price again). Watch out when booking with a company and try to agree all these details. Imagine - let's say you want to surprise your girlfriend with a romantic stay in Prague, book private taxi and then you have to wait at the airport and then share car with someone else. What more - there is few companies who do this as a programme - to get "few bucks" extra. Then they can set the price low - under the real cost of the transport and we cannot compete with them. We never did this and we never do this. That is our promise. Prices of private transfers start at 17 GBP (autumn 2008).
3. English speaking, friendly drivers
If you book transfer with ATP Airport Transfer Prague company, you can be sure there is a good guy waiting for you in the airport terminal. Most of our drivers speak English, some of them excellently and can also serve you as tourguides in Prague as well. If you need someone with very good english or someone who can entertain you and introduce you into Prague on the way from the airport, just ask for it when making reservation. If it is possible, we will do it with pleasure and we will charge nothing extra!
4. New cars in perfect technical conditions
You can see the pictures of our car fleet and you can rely on the extra high standards. All cars are "younger" than 4 years, in perfect technical status, regurarly serviced, fully equiped and licenced. Clean from outside and inside.
